I want to start using Proactive, but i am not sure how long its going to take to clear my skin.How long does Proactive take to clear skin?
it only took my skin about a week to completely clear up after using Proactive. I love it! But everyone's skin is different, and I didn't have alot of acne to start out with, just a few pimples every now and then. But I definitely recommend it.How long does Proactive take to clear skin?
I just started using it on wednesday %26amp; now all of my pimples are a LOT smaller %26amp; all of the bigger pimples that I had are gone. At the rate that mine are clearing up, im guessing they should all be gone in another week or something. But I guess it depends on the persons skin? Give it a shot!!! Report Abuse
I use to ';love'; proactive on the first, my face got CLEAR! but then I stop using it %26amp; I GOT SOO MUCH pimples on my face %26amp; then i start using it again %26amp; it didn't work %26amp; also it made it worse.
If it works for you then that cool, but you should always use it even if your got got cleared. Report Abuse
Well like in the first 1-2 weeks you will have outbreaks but think like the 3rd week it will start to be clear and like u might get a pimple like once every 2weeks (may vary) but just use the REFINING MASK and that does magic. Just put it on after step 1 and keep it on for ten min. (don't cheat it or it won't work) then rinse and continue with the others and in the morning it's like nothin was there. (For real) But yea just use it 2 times a day and you should be clear in 2weeks. Maby sooner. Also to help quick process, just eliminate all juice and soda and drink WATER. really helps

I USE AVON FACIAL WASH CALLED CLEARSKIN AND WORKS SUPER AND I'M 40 SOMETHING. DON'T BUY THE ACNE SPOT REMOVER IN A SMALL TUBE, IT DOESN'T WORK.

It varies. I use it, and I still have acne. (I've been using to for almost a year) It doesn't get rid of all, but most acne. You should start seeing results within a week. I got extremely dry skin and then my acne started going away.

Well, if you use it well every day you should see the difference at around 1-2 weeks
It never started working for my friend. It was a horrible product and just dried out their skin.
It took me 2 days, but I'm just lucky.
Please don't use this product. It destroyed my sister complexion. It works at first and that is why it is still sold, but over time it drys out the skin sooo bad that it is just ruined. Took her 2 years to get her skin back under control.
Because she had such a hard time and because I had really bad acne as a teenager, I went into the beauty business to get to a product that really works and help other people. I now work with dermatologist, medi spas, and plastic surgeons on skin and healing inside and out.

How to get rid of the dark skin on my neck from insulin resistance?
I was wondering if I QUIT sugar all together. (Yes I can do this, it's not hard for me) How much will this help my insulin resistance problem? Will it take the darkness away from my neck? I just started running and exercising and eating really healthy this past week. I will continue this forever. But I was wondering if I quit eating sugar all together, will this get rid of the darkness on my neck? %26amp; How much will quitting sugar help my body? Also, if you have any tips? Quitting sugar will help, but primarily you MUST treat the Diabetes. Yes, Insulin Resistance is a form of Diabetes Type 2.
You will need a doctor's help to do this. You may need medications.
But quiting sugar, alone, is not the full answer. You ALSO need to reduce the amount of carbs you eat. Carbs turn into sugar during digestion.

What are these purplish spots under my skin on my fingertips?
I noticed the other day I have these purplish or reddish spots under my skin on my fingertips and tips of my toes, what would that mean? They follow the ';grain'; of the fingerprints. They look almost like broken capillaries, like when you get pinched, but the spots are purplish and I wasn't pinched at all. Its a blood disorder where basically your immune system attacks a certain part of the blood so stops your blood clotting, nothing too serious as long as you get it treated quickly (I had to take steroids for 6 months), and its not permanent. However if you dont get it treated it'll only get worse and become v dangerous then, any knock will cause massive bruises and a bang to the head could cause a brain heamorage.

What colors work best for yellow undertone skin?
Im looking for a flattering blush and lip color that would look great with my skin tone which is medium to fair with Yellow undertones.

Do you want the look to be monochramatic, Monochromatic colors are all the hues (tints, tones and shades) of a single color, or an anlogus color scheme, Also called harmonious colors, are colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel. Some examples are green, light green, and yellow or red, orange and yellow.
Without seeing a picture it hard to determine, but I would suggest a neutral color and for an everyday look some of my favorite neutral color are Tenderling by Mac, Powder Blush, Tenderling

I suggest that you do not change your brand. Olay is great, since you didn't mention the name of cream, so i suggest that you use its Regenerist or Total Effects.
Just cleanse your face daily and exfoliate it weekly, you don't need to do so many things.

The clinique products are fantasitic their sets especially. i suggest using their creamy cleanser- (purple bottle green lid), with the light facial soap (green bottle green lid) and then the dramatically different mosturiser. (yellow lid and bottle). i used these for just a few days and was really amazed with the results.
Also the aveda products are good.
However, not being rich i tend to go for the cheaper options, just a body shop soap cleanser, which you use a brush to apply in circular motions and then wash off. And after that i use a boots toner and then nivea moisturiser.
Drink lots of water as well and you will look great. :)
i use clinique on my face as i have sensitive skin and although it can be expensive it is great and if used properly in decent amounts lasts for a long enough time. for the rest of my body i love palerms coco butter as it smells great is a wonderful moisteriser and has other benfits too.
Olay is great. don't switch creams now. all you need is a facial mask. i would recommend. queen helen mask. you can look it up and read it's reviews. it's not expensive at all and it really softens the skin.
