I have fair skin and yesterday I got a sunburn. For now my skin is just red and sensitive, but the next step for me is usually peeling. I've been applying moisturizer constantly (2 - 3 times a day), and I want to know if there are any other steps I can take that might prevent my skin from peeling. How do I prevent my sunburnt skin from peeling?
Lidocaine products with aloe. They're very sticky, but they work wonders. :) I highly recommend Cool Aloe I.C.E. Lidocaine Burn Relief Gel, available at Walgreens (http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100785%26amp;navAction=jump%26amp;navCount=1%26amp;id=prod1627774).
Good luck. :)How do I prevent my sunburnt skin from peeling?
Cut and Paste the following link and get some SiloeVera Gel which is an all natural, non-fragrant gel made from Aloe and Silver. It works great and is not expensive. OK the link is: stores.notaquitter.com/StoreFront.bok Enjoy as I am sure you will
Being a guy, I honestly don't know of any lotions you can use to prevent peeling. A formula called OceanPocean is the closest, which only cools off the temperature of the burned area. Peeling is the body's way of disposing of the few dead layers that got burned by the sun. Hope I have been able to help. =)
use aloe
