How can a person with real light skin tan in the sun and get a noticeable tan?
I have strawberry blonde hair (light red) and I have real light skin that is like REAL WHITE. I am wondering if how LONG it takes to get a noticeable tan while tanning in the sun.
Please do not mention tanning beds. How can a person with real light skin tan in the sun and get a noticeable tan?
There's nothing wrong with fair skin. In fact, some people find it attractive. There are many different skintones, no one is superior to another. It's usually hard for redheads to tan, and the majority of people who get skin cancer have fair skin. So, the dangers of tanning might outweigh the benefits of having the socially-accepted tan.
There are several new gradual tanners out, you can pick them up at any drug store. Olay has a moisturizer called Touch of Sun, that supposedly with consistent use will darken your skin. With a self tanner, at least you won't damage your skin and get premature lines and wrinkles. I recommend using at least an SPF 30 sunscreen if you decide to hit the tanning booth or tan outside. Anything higher will block the sunlight so much that you will not even get darker.
Each person is different, and your light skin and reddish hair make you unique. No one needs a tan to be beautiful -- worthwhile people will respond more to your personality than your appearance. :)How can a person with real light skin tan in the sun and get a noticeable tan?
Well tanning beds are quicker than the sun. $6.00 a tan. I am a strawberry blonde too and I do it and it works because tanning in the sun takes too long. Otherwise just buy lotion at walmart and end up looking like a rutton pumpkin.
Also, I use make-up on my face like bronzer to help give me a sunkissed glow. Try the tanning bed, u can't say u don't like something if you don't try it.
if your out in the sun for about 30 minutes each day, by the 3rd or 4th day you should notice it.
I would get spray tan if I were you. I think laying in the sun will be a very long term thing to do in order to see good results. Also, if you do it make sure you are using at least SF50 and also cover your head with sumthing so you dont burn your scalp. But honestly, I've heard that the spray tan thing really works and you don't risk damaging your skin so much layin under the sun.
Try a tan accelerator with an spf. Start slow daily. When you feel like you may start to burn, take a break for a day or so, then do it again. Within a couple weeks you should start to see results. I am really white also but this works for me every time! You may have to go to a tan salon not to tan but to buy the accelerator though.
