School's starting in a month, and I want to show up with nice, healthy skin. Are there any certain products or routines I should use? What should I do to get nicer skin by the time school starts?
I have some tips and my own personal routine I'm willing to share.
For the routine:
- I wake up in the morning, cleanse my face with Noxzema, let is set for 5 - 10 minutes, and then wash off with warm water
- Throughout the day, I sip on Fit %26amp; Active water (Mango Tropical is my favorite). I can't stand the taste of tap water because it's bland. But Fit %26amp; Active (and even Vitamin Water) make great skin supplements. Fit %26amp; Active is found in a 1 liter bottle. I drink a bottle per day.
- If I happen to wear makeup, I wash off with Dove soap. It does NOT clog the pores and rids the pores of dirt. Most makeup removers DO clog your pores, so try to avoid those.
- I keep a spa headband on when I'm chilling around the house. Since I have bangs and bangs usually tend to get oily, this comes in handy. I got my band from Bath %26amp; Body Works. But if you don't want to buy the headband then make sure your hair isn't oily.
- At night, I once again use Noxzema.
Tips:
- Try to avoid face makeup. It clogs the pores. Thus, causing breakouts and such. I've never been a fan of face makeup and I have clear skin. And what's the point of face makeup if you have healthy, smooth skin anyways?
- Avoid touching your face.
- Wash your face 2 times a day. Or just take a morning and night shower.
- Eat a lot of fruit or veggies
- If you get breakouts, don't pick at them. The worst thing you can possibly put to your pimple is your fingernail. Instead try Merle Norman's Clear Complexion Toner. It fights acne/breakouts without clogging the pores!
- Take a bubble bath every now and then. Lay a hot rag across your face (as hot as you can tolerate). It's great to allow your pores to expand every now and then.
- I'm a BIG TIME tanner, honestly. If you are too, then you need to use a lotion before and after you get out of the tanning bed. Or better yet, don't tan your face at all.
Hope I helped. What should I do to get nicer skin by the time school starts?
use a face wash and wash your face 2 times a day or maybe even once morning and night. try to find one that has good ratings and is more natural. drink about 6 to 8 cups of water a day, water bottles have about 2 and 1/2 cups of water in them so u can drink from those to make it easier, try to keep your hair off your face with a rubber band or hair clips u can also use a head band, keep your hands OFF your face, it can make think so much worse, im 13 and had the same problem but my skin is now clear and glowing. try not to put so much foundation or concealer on your face (if u wear it) try to also stay away from morning face lotions and night ones too. I started seeing my skin getting better on the 1st week! i swear, it works!!!
Well wash your face in the morning and before you go to bed. Never sleep with make up on! Eating fish, vegetables, taking Vitamins, and other healthy foods can help. Try to stay away from fast food and milk chocolate and other sweets. Changing your pillow case often can help to. Getting enough sleep, using sun block when you go outside can also help. If you do get acne try not to pick at it and get some acne treatment soap, a good tip use a little tooth paste on a pimple and it will take away swelling and redness. But don't leave on too long if you have sensitive skin. hope it helps :)
Drink lots of water, eat a healthy diet, take B-complex vitamins, exercise, and do not wash your face a lot. Try also to keep your stress level down and get some sun- But not too much.
Also- Stay away from products, like certain shampoos, that trigger allergic reactions on your skin.
I did the same thing, my summer is over (private school).
Drink lots of water, eat healty, and relax stress causes most teens to break out because it unbalances our hormones.
Plus I do this RAW EGG MASK once a week
Seperate the yolk from the whites. Put the whites on your face until it gets ';hard'; or dries and then wash it off then put the yolk on your face.
I dnt like smelling like raw chicken so I use a tiny dot of cleanser it takes away the smell :))
- really hope this helps
