What foods are really good for your skin?

I donn't have severe or bad acne problems, but pimples keep popping up in the same exact spot. I have already dropped soda and popcorn from my diet and my skin is clearing up a considerable amount. I drink only water and milk. What foods are good for my skin?What foods are really good for your skin?

Avacados,


Bananas, Apples, Peaches, Strawberries, Blueberries, whole wheat, soy milk,





Dark Leafy greens like raw spinach and Boston Lettuce.


TOMATOES ---especially!


Garlic, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar


Red Wine





Don't Drink the Cow MILK!!!!!! The bovine milk causes puss to form and aggrivate infection in the acne,


switch to soy milk or rice milk.

Vitamin E is very good for the skin.
Cucumbers are good for the face and eyes. You can get food masks from the store like Walmart. If you meant what to eat? Salads, healthy of course. Changing diet seems to cure everything. I am seeing that a lot. So you are on the right path. Also a ranch dressing mask helps. I guess you can put anything on your face, just washing it off helps a bunch. You could put a banana split on your face, just wash it off. Alcohol also does wonders for the dirt and grime.
nothing greasy .. always wash your hands when you are eating.... wash your face once before bed with soap and water....and once when you wake up .... tie your hair up at night ...because sometimes.....the hairspray and other ... hair products when touching your face while you sleep can make you break out...............
I think that the best medicine for acne is sun screen. I would have never thought in a million years that sun screen would help my skin to clear out, but it did. I would personally recomend Neutragena sunscreen spf 45 (non oily, and wont clog pores), just wear it every time you go outside or before putting makeup on. As for food, i strongly recommend eating fish especially Salmon and drinking lots of water!! Eat lots of fruit and veggies and no fried foods, like oily fries. Pro-Active, is a really good acne medicine too! Use it everyday and im sure your skin will clear out! Good Luck!!
the milk may be causing this....milk (and other dairy products) are mucus forming which can lead to pimples. Soy may seem like a healthier althernative but many ppl (including myself) notice it makes zits worse. Eat raw foods (any vegetables and fruit..although some experts advise staying away from strawberries as they can aggravate pimples) Eat blood cleansing foods like parsley, dandelion (lol ya you can eat the roots and leaves) foods that contain beta cartone, vitamin A (like carrots, punpkin) are all great for your skin. stay away from white sugar, processed white flour, fried foods. And you need healthy fats such as flax seed, olive oil, sunflower oil. All these are needed.
