People are always telling me my skin looks almost like a dark green, are there any procedures to lighten it?

That work very well, not home remedies, or creams or lotions but medical procedures from a doctor?

Permanent, technology related stuff? How much would it cost.

I really don't think there are any procedures that can change the color of your skin, at least not on your entire body. A chemical peel or a laser procedure may temporarily lighten or change the color of the skin on your face/neck.

Your skin color is determined inside your body's cells. I don't think there is anything a doctor can do to change what your body automatically does.

The lemon juice trick does work, I used it to lighten my freckles before pageants. And they do have creams at the drugstore that will lighten and fade skin discolorations.

But I say embrace your skin color! If people say your skin looks green you probably have an 'olive' skintone. (Think of the skin tone that Middle Eastern women have.) Olive skin can be lovely if you pick the right makeup colors!!

Before you try any procedures or home remedies, do a search on olive skintone make-up tips and give em a try. You may fine that just changing up some colors will make your skin turn from green to gorgeous!!

I used to work for a dermatologist, I would say that you should try creams because that is the cheapest and usually the best way to go... but you do have to have patience... I would need to see your face, but you might be able to do something like a laser treatment to your face and since I haven't worked there for a while now I don't remember the cost, but it will cost you a few hundred per laser treatment. But you have to remember to take care of your face after treatment because depending on what it is you have, if anything it can come back if you don't take care of it. Hope that helps.... One way or another you should see a dermatologist, some take insurances so you might want to see your carrier and see if there are any if not you might need to pay like $100.00 for a consulation.
