How do I get rid of dark skin around my mouth/chin?

My skin is naturally light, however, the skin above my upper lip and my chin area are darker than the rest of my face. How can I get rid of this dark area?





I tried powder/concealer, but it's still noticeable.

Actually sun makes it worse even though i use sun block. has any fading creams worked for you? if it's really bad and if you can, go see a dermatologist, he/she should be able to help.
