How do you take off a skin tag without using any chemicals?

I have a tiny but really annoying skin tag on my arm, but I don't want to use any chemicals or go to a doctor and freeze/ burn it off. Is there an easier, less painful way to take it off at home?How do you take off a skin tag without using any chemicals?

You can tie a piece of thread around the skin tag in order to cut off the blood flow. It will eventually fall off. Another method I've read about but I've never tried, some people have recommended putting nail polish on it and they say it will make it fall off.

Everyday ice it then put lotion on it. wont go away completely but it will shrink.
