How do you get your downloaded skin color on to the Sims 2 game?

I downloaded an alien skin color from mod the sims 2. I used WinRAR to extract the file to the downloads folder and it is a .PACKAGE file. I also enabled the custom content. I checked the custom skin colors and there still not there! Help please!How do you get your downloaded skin color on to the Sims 2 game?
first go to my documents then ea games then the sims 2 creat a folder exactly like this Downloads


then open the winRAR and press extract files and choose the folder u just made and then open the game they will tell u if u want to enable or disable the stuff u downloaded press on enable files then ok

I download stuff from MTS2 all the time. if it's your first time downloading, make sure you have it in the right file. it should be C:\Users\NAME\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads


and make sure you extracted the files into the right folder. if you've downloaded before, then you might have other custom skintones and you didn't notice it.otherwise, you may just need to restart the game. . Hope i helped!
Also, the skintone you downloaded could have been a default skintone, meaning it will only show up if you have alien spawn. Check Strangetown to see if Pollination Tech, his son, or any of the aliens in the Singles Family has that skintone.





If not, I would just try to install the skintone again or just get another one.

try it again and this time put it inside the Sims 2鈩?FILES inside of---


C:\Users\COMPUTER USER NAME\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Projects





And that should make it work but make sure you make a family and then this stuff
